Company
owner, Michael VerBrugge is a native of the San
Francisco Bay Area. He has been in the construction
industry for more than 20 years, but has had an
interest in construction and working with his
hands since he was a child. Starting at age 10,
Michael worked in his father and grandfather’s
businesses and observed how to run a success business.
After a few years of college, Michael completed
a four-year carpentry apprenticeship and then
worked as a carpenter for the next six years.
It was only natural that he would want to own
his own business someday, so that he could pull
his own strings and face the challenges of owning
his own business, following in the steps of his
father and grandfather. In 1992, Michael acquired
his General Contractors License and started Michael
VerBrugge Construction, Inc. |
| Michael
is trained and experienced in all aspects of
carpentry, paint, drywall, plumbing, electrical,
cabinetry, tile, and flooring work. Extensive
planning and preparation goes into every job
with Michael estimating potential projects personally.
He finds it is very satisfying helping to make
families’ dreams come true and is very
motivated by the gratitude showed to him by
his clients. He is proud of the fact that most
of his company’s work is the result of
previous customers and word of mouth referrals.
Michael also believes the foundations of business
ethics and skills that his father and grandfather
provided contribute to the success of his company
today. Michael has been happily married for
19 years, with 2 children and 1 grandchild.
